Influenced by my natural surroundings and the idea of the erotic environment, new forms are budding in the studio.

Dear Melise,

Greetings from Manhattan! Recently, we were familiarized with yourwork by one of our contributing curators. After reviewing it online, I would like to discuss with you an opportunity of a possible exhibition.

ARTIFACT is located on the Lower East Side — the most exciting art district in Manhattan with over 200 art galleries. It is close to the New York landmark Tenement Museum, and a short walk from the New Museum.

Our ground floor space has a dramatic exposure to a busy pedestrian traffic, which allows to exhibit the remarkable work of artists like you at the venue with a maximum capacity for proper presentation, marketing and sales. See it on http://vimeo.com/78958772.

As a result of our 22-year experience in the art world, we have developed social and business connections with some of the world's most important art collectors, critics and curators. They include Agnes Gund http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnes_Gund, philanthropist and President Emerita of MoMA, Mace Neufeld http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0626883/, Hollywood producer and collector. Among our collectors are Peter Marino http://nymag.com/thecut/2012/08/peter-marino-knows-how-to-design-stores.html, architect, and Clarence Avant (founder and president of Motown Records) and many others. Moreover, we have been collaborating with global corporations, such as Microsoft, on art related projects.

This year we were selected as the only art gallery included in the Monaco Yacht Show — an exclusive event for the ultra luxury market. It took place on September 27-30, 2017 in Monte Carlo under the high patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco who visited our exhibition.

ARTIFACT schedules exhibitions in advance. During a three or two-week solo exhibition the gallery covers essential expenses related to our space, installation, gallery infrastructure, printing and mailing of invitations and an opening reception.
To further promote exhibitions, artists consider additional marketing options which they can afford, including an exhibition catalog at just $15 per book. Artists cover expenses related to shipping of their artwork.

Shall you decide that our space and exhibition terms are appropriate for your possible exhibition, I would be happy to provide further details.

Warm regards,
Martin Bernstein
